Need Help...

Dave had blisters a few weeks ago (less than 2 wks) and now just finished a 12 mile ruck march with sopping wet feet. We cannot get his feet to stay dry when he does ruck marches over 6 miles. We've tried everything. Please look at these pictures and let us know if you have any ideas or suggestions. Please pray for his feet: quick recovery and for the pain to go away. We are also praying this does not interfere with his Ranger training.
Thank you. We love you and pray God is drawing you nearer.

Carrie, Russell is reading this with me. He is saying that Dave needs to wear SmartWool brand socks. Russell wears ONLY these in uniform. He says they're NOT the right color, but b/c your pants are bloused into your boots, they're never seen. GET SOME SMARTWOOL SOCKS! Russell also suggests changing them frequently, if possible, throughout the march...every time you stop for a water break! Also, Russell mentioned that Dave's shoes may not be the right size...maybe a little too big since they're rubbing so much?
Gosh, those pics are gross. Sorry, Dave!! You have a special wife to take care of that! I think Russell would be on his own with that!! :)
P.S. You can get smartwools CHEAP at www.sierratradingpost.com
This is all I wear, too! Summer time, ankle-length. Winter time, mid-calf. They're AWESOME!! They're padded well, they wick moisture well, and they just hold up great.
Love you and hope this helps!!

OUCH! That looks so painful! Wish I could be of help, but I'm at a loss! We will pray for Dave's feet...that's about all I can think of to say!
